Here are the numbers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If this is the first time you\u2019re reading about this strategy, I suggest you take a look at the\u00a0system rules\u00a0before reading on.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, this version makes use of&nbsp;an adjusted stop loss size (from the original 20% of the first candlestick to 40% of its length) on both USD\/JPY and GBP\/JPY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that I\u2019m assuming 1% risk per position in crunching the percentage gains and losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the tally for\u00a0USD\/JPY:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2021\/12\/27003127\/usdjpy-ib.fw_-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2021\/12\/27003127\/usdjpy-ib.fw_-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-217598\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This pair caught 23 valid inside bar signals for the period, winning 19 positions or 79.17% of it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s even better than its previous 79.17% win rate in Q3, but did it catch bigger wins?Well, not exactly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pair was able to rack up\u00a0<strong>238 pips or a 20.54% gain<\/strong>, just shy of the earlier\u00a0257-pip or 23.94% win in Q3. Still not bad!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It had another impressive winning streak of 15 trades that bagged 17.62% in gains, erasing the 3.39% loss snagged during its longest losing streak of 3 trades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its average gain of 1.30% is also slightly larger than its average loss of 1.05%, which gives it a positive\u00a0expectancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now here\u2019s how\u00a0GBP\/JPY\u00a0turned out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2021\/12\/27003518\/gbpjpy-ib.fw_-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2021\/12\/27003518\/gbpjpy-ib.fw_-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-217599\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Guppy also scored&nbsp;<strong>238 pips<\/strong>&nbsp;for the period but racked up only&nbsp;<strong>10.46% in gains.&nbsp;<\/strong>This came from 28 valid signals, 17 of which or 70.38% turned out to be winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its average win of 1.26% is much larger than its average loss of 1.09%, although it only had a pretty short maximum winning streak of four trades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that, the\u00a0Inside Bar Momentum Strategy\u00a0was able to end up with a\u00a0<strong>476-pip or 31% gain<\/strong>\u00a0for Q4 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That comes pretty close to its stellar 33.36% win in Q3, adding to the\u00a016.96% gain\u00a0in Q2\u00a0and 22.98% win in Q1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s a grand total of&nbsp;<strong>104.3% in winnings<\/strong>&nbsp;for the whole year!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This strategy had a stellar run in Q3, so the bar has been set pretty high for Q4.
