Little elephant may be young, but he is strong and helpful. He would often help out with household chores at home, such as cleaning the dishes, sweeping the floor and keeping all his belongings. This sense of responsibility and helpfulness stemmed from his upbringing since he was young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not only does he loved helping around at home, but he also enjoyed helping others in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One day, while strolling in the forest, little elephant heard the wailing sound. He followed the sound which led him to a bunny. Feeling sorry for the crying bunny, he asked, \u201cWhat happened, bunny? Why are you crying?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bunny sobbed and replied with tears in his eyes, \u201cThere was a thunderstorm earlier on which destroyed my house. Now, I have nowhere to go anymore\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The little elephant thought about it and replied, \u201cDon\u2019t worry, we can build a new house together. I can help you!\u201d The bunny eyes lit up and said, \u201cReally? Thank you so much!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The little elephant smiled and quickly went to get some tree branches and trunks. The other neighbouring animals staying near bunny saw what happened and began joining in to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After spending the whole day, they managed to help bunny rebuilt a stronger and more comfortable house. Bunny was very grateful and thanked everyone for their help, especially little elephant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A few days later, while the little elephant was heading home from his trip, he came across a horse trying to repair his roof. \u201cDo you need extra help? I can help you with the repair.\u201d Little elephant offered. The horse replied, \u201cOh, thank you. That will be great! I had been at this for hours!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The little elephant then began to carry the woods to the horse and used his long trunk to place them on the roof. The horse was delighted to receive help from the little elephant and thanked him profusely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everyone in the forest sang praises of the helpful little elephant. He had helped so many animals in the woods. Everyone simply adored him. Sometimes, they would offer him gifts, but little elephant refused to accept as he enjoyed helping others and did not need any presents in return. He felt he was simply making good use of his own strength, and it cost him nothing to help others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One day, little elephant was wandering alone in the forest after heavy rain. It had been raining continuously for days, and the soil was very soft. He felt himself having difficulty moving his feet out from the ground as he proceeded on the path. Slowly, he trampled on a highly soppy mud pool and began to sink!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Little elephant was horrified and started struggling. However, the more he struggled, the faster he sink. He took a few deep breaths to regain his composure and began thinking of ways to get out of the mud pool. He tried looking around for branches to pull himself out, but the nearest tree branch was too far from his reach. The little elephant thought, \u201cWhat can I do?\u201d He tried to shout for help. However, no one answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just when the little elephant was desperate, he heard the voice of the little horse calling him. The horse knew that he could not lift the heavy elephant out of the quicksand with only his strength. He quickly shouted, \u201cHang in there, I will go get more help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Little horse quickly galloped away for help. Soon, little horse returned with bunny, sheep and monkey to the elephant\u2019s rescue. Bunny found a rope and secured it onto the horse\u2019s back. The monkey quickly jumped onto the horseback and threw the rope at the elephant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGrab on to the rope. We will pull you out!\u201d Monkey called out to Little Elephant. The elephant managed to catch on to the rope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOn the count of one, two and three, we will pull together,\u201d suggested little sheep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne, two and three. Pull!\u201d Everyone used their strength to pull. Little by little, the little elephant managed to pull himself out of the muddy pool. Everyone was exhausted and sweating profusely. The little elephant was very grateful that the animals had saved him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThank you for saving me.\u201d The little elephant said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bunny smiled and replied, \u201cYou have helped us in times of need too. You are most welcome!\u201d Little elephant smiled. It felt great to have friends to help each other in times of difficulty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
