If a buyer buys \u2018X\u2019, would he or she force to buy \u2018Y\u2019 because of a relationship that can identify between them? This leads to the relationship that exists between&nbsp;<strong>fish<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>chips<\/strong>&nbsp;etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When new products launch in the market knowing these relationships, it develops a&nbsp;<strong>new relationship<\/strong>. Knowing these relationships could help in&nbsp;<strong>suggesting<\/strong>&nbsp;the associated&nbsp;<strong>product<\/strong>&nbsp;to the&nbsp;<strong>customer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a higher likelihood of the customer buying it, It can also help in&nbsp;<strong>bundling products<\/strong>&nbsp;for a&nbsp;<strong>better package<\/strong>. This learning of associations between products by a machine is&nbsp;<strong>learning associations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once we found an association by examining a large amount of&nbsp;<strong>sales data<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Big Data<\/strong>&nbsp;analysts.
