Find out the amount of work done by the force in moving the object through a distance of 8 m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Solution:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F = 100 N, d = 8 m<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since F and d are in the same direction, \u03b8 = 0, [\u03b8 is the angle of the force to the direction of movement], therefore<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W = FdCos \u03b8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W = 100 x 8 x Cos 0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>W = 800 J [Since Cos 0 = 1]<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SI unit of work is Joule (J).
