Proper adjectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0are the adjective form of\u00a0proper nouns. When proper nouns modify or describe other nouns\/pronouns, they become proper adjectives. \u2018Proper\u2019 means \u2018specific\u2019 rather than \u2018formal\u2019 or \u2018polite.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A proper adjective allows us to summarize a concept in just one word. Instead of writing\/saying \u2018a food cooked in Chinese recipe\u2019 you can write\/say \u2018Chinese food\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proper adjectives are usually capitalized as proper nouns are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
