Simple Future (Future Indefinite) Tense<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The simple future tense<\/strong> is used when an action is promised\/thought to occur in the future. The simple foreseen outcomes are stated in the future indefinite tense. “Shall\/will'” marks the future indefinite tense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Structure:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subject + shall\/will + verb +  . . . . . . . .<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • We shall move to another city.<\/li>
  • He will come to New York tomorrow.<\/li>
  • They will make a phone which has artificial intelligence.<\/li>
  • It will rain in the coming hours.<\/li>
  • There will be a hard few days ahead of us.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Note:<\/strong>\u00a0In some cases, the\u00a0present progressive tense\u00a0can be used when an action is promised\/arranged\/planned to take place in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • We are moving to Texas next week.<\/li>
    • We are\u00a0leaving at 6.00 PM.<\/li>
    • They’re going to do as you say.<\/li>
    • Dan is meeting me at 9 AM.<\/li>
