Some quadrilaterals are probably quite familiar to you like squares and rectangles. A unique property of quadrilaterals is that the sum of all their interior angles always totals 360 degrees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types of quadrilaterals:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Rectangle :<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p> A rectangle is a quadrilateral where all four angles are 90 degrees. A square is a special type of rectangle where all four sides are the same length. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ducksters.com\/kidsmath\/rectangle.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ducksters.com\/kidsmath\/square.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rectangle Square Parallelogram :<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p> A parallelogram is when both opposing pairs of sides on a quadrilateral are parallel. Squares and rectangles are also parallelograms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ducksters.com\/kidsmath\/parallelogram.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Rhombus:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>A rhombus is a quadrilateral where all four sides have the same length. A square is a rhombus but not all rhombuses are squares. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ducksters.com\/kidsmath\/rhombus.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trapezoid:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p> A trapezoid is when there is only one pair of opposing parallel sides (see the picture below).
