The New Bakery Intern<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Aunty Rabbit bakes delicious pastries, biscuits and bread. Everyone who tasted her bakes sang praises. Hence, she decided to open a bakery shop so that people could come to try them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new shop needed an assistant, as aunty rabbit had to bake and realised that she could not tend to everyone. Hence, aunty rabbit placed an advertisement on her shop window, hoping to find a suitable assistant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One day, a monkey happened to walk past aunty rabbit\u2019s bakery shop. The fragrance from the bakery shop attracted the monkey\u2019s attention, and he stopped by to take a glance through the window. Then, he chanced on the notice at the window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHmm, the shop is hiring. It will be great to work here and try all the delicious tarts and pastries.\u201d He thought to himself. His mouth started to drool while thinking. Immediately, he stepped into the bakery shop and said, \u201cHello, I saw from the notice that you are hiring. I would like to work here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunty rabbit asked, \u201cCan you bake bread?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monkey said, \u201cer, no..\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunty rabbit asked again, \u201cHow about kneading the dough?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monkey replied, \u201cNeither can I.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunty rabbit thought for a while and asked, \u201cThen can you sweep the floor?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The little monkey scratched his head and looked at the floor. Feeling embarrassed, he replied, \u201cNo, I don\u2019t know how!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen are you able to clean the window?\u201d exclaimed Aunty rabbit, who was now getting a bit impatient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis\u2026I\u2026I can\u2019t!\u201d The little monkey stuttered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All this while, the monkey had never done any chores before. He simply played the whole day and did not help his mother with any housework too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunty rabbit shook her head and said, \u201cSince you know nothing, how can I hire you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the little monkey heard that, he felt ashamed and tear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunty rabbit sighed and said, \u201cWell, I can give you a chance. If you are willing to learn from me and be dedicated, I will hire you.\u201d Monkey promptly replied, \u201cYes, I sure will. Thank you, Aunty rabbit. I will definitely work hard.\u201d Aunty rabbit smiled and said, \u201cWell then, let\u2019s start with cleaning!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From then on, the little monkey worked diligently. With his excellent attitude, Aunty rabbit was very satisfied. She praised the little monkey and exclaimed, \u201cNow you are a good child who is helpful and hardworking!\u201d She was glad that she gave a chance to allow the little monkey to improve himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The little monkey was grateful for the opportunity given to him. Now he became diligent and disciplined with his work. He also helped at home and made his mother proud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
